First day at the Lasalle college of the arts, 24 students including me, from all over the world and a lot of names and faces. The faces ae quite familiar already, the names are the challenge.

There was some introductions, some interesting presentations, some walking around, going up and down with the elevator, where to find this and that, slowly it all becomes sense now, I start to get the structure of the building, the inside, which is connected with the outside, the flow of the air, the exchange of two worlds, the art, which is created, can spread into the surroundings.

I am quite intrigued with the air conditioning, which is everywhere, even in half open areas, the cool air can be felt from afar, it is like a promise. The cool air is a decoy, it attracts the people, which are seeking relief from all the hot and humid air. These cool places are like little islands, which are steering the flow of the pedestrians in the street. Inside though are the areas of consumption, art works in an exhibition or the many restaurants with their delicious food or the products and goods in the shelves, which are waiting for the cusomers.

It is the generation of a second Singapore within Singapore.
